When you are thinking about bringing a child into your family, and infertility or child-bearing issues make it impossible to have a child of your own, adoption can be a very realistic, positive and fulfilling choice.

JFS Adoption Services can give you the information you want and the support you may need throughout the process of bringing a child into your home. Our licensed professionals are warm and sensitive to the range of needs and concerns unique to adoption.

JFS Adoption Services provide:

• Information workshops to learn about adoption: international, identified, private or public, and special needs children.
• NJ state-mandated home study evaluations.
• Post-placement supervision.
• Counseling and consultation to new families, to ensure the proper "fit" between the needs of the child, parents, and the home environment.
• Support groups for infertile couples, couples awaiting adoption, and for children who have been adopted.
• Birth parent services.
