Jewish Family Service of MetroWest is now accepting registrations for the Teen Chavurah. This unique small group experience is offered for middle schoolers who struggle with socialization issues and designed to strengthen Jewish identity, friendships and values as well as to build leadership skills.

Monthly meetings may include a trip to a Broadway show, Shabbat dinner, and an ongoing social action project, all facilitated by a licensed clinical social worker to ensure personal attention and a positive experience.

The Teen Chavurah program was established with seed funding from the Paula and Jerry Gottesman Family Supporting Foundation of the Jewish Community Foundation of MetroWest and the Iris Teen Tzedakah Program of UJC MetroWest.  The Partnership for Jewish Learning and Life is a co-sponsor of the Teen Chavurah program.

The registration fee is $25 and additional fees for activities may be required.  For more information about the Teen Chavurah program or to register, contact Margo Adelsberg at 973-740-1233, ext. 1765 or madelsberg@jfsmetrowest.org
