JFS: THE CENTER FOR CARING

The more than 40 programs and services of Jewish Family Service of MetroWest position the Agency as the source for communal caring in the MetroWest community. These services and programs are grouped into three core areas:

The Center for Family and Children's Services

  • Maslow Family Counseling Center: counseling for individuals, couples and families
  • Child and adolescent services
  • Ruth Sagner Center for Family Play Therapy
  • Parent consultations and parenting workshops
  • Special needs support - learnig disabilities, Asperger's, developmental disabilties
  • Adoption services
  • Rachel Coalition: domestic violence services

The Center for Eldercare Services

  • Geriatric assessments, counseling and care management
  • Housecalls: in-home social work services with medical support
  • Elderlink: information and referral
  • Caregiver support services
  • Lore Ross Cafe Europa and Holocaust survivor services
  • Hudson County Kosher Nutrition Program
  • JFS Abner and Norma Benisch Transportation Fund for Disabled Seniors

The Center for Community Services

  • 24 hour crisis response
  • Safety Net Service: emergency financial assistance and case management
  • Support groups and workshops
  • Hebrew Free Loan of New Jersey
  • Debt management
  • Coordinated Care of MetroWest: lifetime care management for disabled adults
  • Synagogue Consultation Service
  • Volunteer Services
