JFS/Rachel Coalition hosted its annual community education event to raise awareness about domestic violence on October 9th.
A special thank you to the Florin Education Series for their generosity in partially underwriting this annual event.
Thank you to our corporate partners, event chairs, event planning committee, benefactors, donors, attendees, and all the amazing community first responders who joined us.
This year we presented a documentary, “This is Where I Learned Not to Sleep”, followed by a panel discussion with survivor and retired police officer, Lt. Mark Wynn and filmmaker Kirsten Kelly along with Marianne McCrone and Tara Halpern from JFS/Rachel Coalition.

Rachel Coalition provides services to assist victims of domestic violence, intimate partner violence, and individuals living in high conflict relationships.
We improve the lives of those most affected by abuse – the victims, their children, and their families. Our domestic violence professionals provide guidance, support, and safe alternatives through counseling and legal services.
Domestic violence does not discriminate. It touches everyone, regardless of age, gender, race, culture, religion, socioeconomic status, or education. Domestic violence affects us all.
